7th Whitby Scout Group is in need of the following for the 2009-2010 scouting year:
Section Leaders
Currently require leaders for the Beaver and Scout programs. Training is available. This position requires working as part of a leadership team conducting colony, pack, or troop programs in accordance with guidelines in program handbooks and By-Law, Policies and Procedures. 10-14 hours per month for planning and meetings, plus special events, weekend outings, camps, etc. Additional time may be required for training, sharing sessions, Group Committee and Council meetings.
Secretary
Effectively record and maintain minutes and decisions made as well as compose other correspondence as required by the Group Committee. Provides excellent support to section scouters and Group Commissioner ensuring appropriate forms are provided to the Council in a timely manner.
