Who We Are?
Whitby 7th is one of thirteen groups servicing the Whitby Area and part of the White Pine Region of Scouts Canada.
7th Whitby mainly services the West Lynde area; bordered roughly by Lakeridge Road in the west, Dundas to the north, Henry Street in the East and Lake Ontario to the south.
As with all scouting groups, we are run by volunteers made up of present and past parents or members of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.  Although Scouts Canada offers training to their volunteers to ensure program consistency, each volunteer brings their own unique skills, gifts and talents to contribute to the children's development through the scouting mission.
Although leaders are always in demand, you don't have to become a leader to volunteer.  We also encourage parents to share their unique talents with the sections as well.
What We Do:
Scouting's beliefs are based on three broad principles of duty to God, Duty to others and duty to self.

7 th Whitby offers a variety of creative, character building activities to spark your child's imagination, self awareness and awareness of their surroundings.  Children are encouraged to do their best as they play, learn and discover values and skills building self-esteem and self-confidence.  Our well-organized outings provide wonderful fun filled learning opportunities and promote personal development.
Where We Meet:
Our regular meetings are held at the West Lynde Public School gym with Beavers meeting on Tuesday nights, Cub meetings on Monday nights, and Scouts meeting on Thursday nights.
